Love it. I was planning one making something just like this. I think the effects could be improved though, like look at the bullets in enter the gungeon the particles and stuff and also the overall pixel art. This would be a really fun game if u just polished everything.

thanks for the review! i’m glad you like it. i was kinda going for a rough-around-the-edges shareware-style aesthetic a la Snood, or like desktop icons from the 90s. the true final boss is meant to contrast that a little bit. as you can probably tell i love enter the gungeon!

edit: i should also mention Llamatron, which is a shareware Robotron parody/clone created by Jeff Minter in 1991
